Marketing Chapter 1 Test Review

• Define the concept of market.
• Explain goods and services.
• Understand the seven marketing functions.
• Explain the five economic utilities (and know which of the five is not directly related to marketing).
• Explain the economic benefits of marketing
• Know the difference between a consumer & a customer.
• Differentiate between an industrial and a consumer market.
• List the components and explain the concept of the marketing mix
• Define customer profile.

Be sure to bring your chapter notes and a #2 pencil with you to class on Thursday, 9/21 for this test.

• know when & where the conferences are held
• know at least one series event and one written or chapter event
• know what the college division of DECA is called
